Referlytics Technologies Ltd. (“Referlytics,” “we,” “our,” “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and safeguard your data when you use our platform, websites, mobile applications, or services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using Referlytics, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Right to Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal information and associated data under:

  • GDPR (EU/UK – Right to Erasure / “Right to be Forgotten”).
  • NDPR (Nigeria).
  • CCPA/CPRA (California).
  • PIPEDA (Canada).
  • POPIA (South Africa).
  • Other applicable data protection laws.

2. How to Request Deletion

You may request deletion of your data at any time by:

  • Emailing support@referlytics.com with the subject line: “Data Deletion Request.”
  • Submitting a request through our Contact Form.
  • If connected via a social platform (e.g., Facebook Login, TikTok Login, Google/YouTube OAuth, LinkedIn OAuth, Twitter/X OAuth), you may also revoke Referlytics’ access directly through the platform’s settings.
  • Upon receipt of your request, we will verify your identity and confirm your ownership of the account before processing deletion.

3. Automatic Deletion and Retention Rules

  • Social Account Disconnection: When you disconnect a social account from Referlytics, all related data (profile, content, insights) is deleted from our systems within 30 days.
  • Account Deletion: When you request to delete your Referlytics account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days, unless retention is legally required (e.g., financial transactions).
  • Inactive Accounts: If your Referlytics account remains inactive for 12 consecutive months, we may automatically delete or anonymize your data.
  • Backups: Data may persist temporarily in secure backups, but will be overwritten according to our backup rotation cycle (maximum 90 days).

4. Exceptions to Deletion

We may retain certain data if required to:

  • Comply with legal, tax, or regulatory obligations.
  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
  • Maintain anonymized, aggregated insights (which are no longer personal data).

5. Platform Compliance

This Data Deletion Policy complies with requirements set by:

  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram Developer Platform).
  • TikTok for Developers.
  • YouTube Data API Services.
  • X (Twitter) API.
  • LinkedIn Marketing Developer Platform.

Each platform requires that users be able to request deletion of their data, and Referlytics provides a clear process for doing so.

6. Confirmation of Deletion

Once your request is processed, we will send a confirmation email.

If deletion cannot be completed due to legal retention requirements, we will notify you with details.
